It looks like facial hair is making a huge comeback. Looking at JD Vance reminded me of how beards, once considered unusual, are really commonplace now.

I mention this because I just saw Cruz on TV - and that's a relatively new thing for him (2-3 years?).

For the record, I had a beard from 1970 to 1986. Then, again, from 1997 to 2022.

I was cool before it was cool.

Oh, and people who have a beard that comes in looking pubic should never even consider it.

"Now look here, you Baltic gas passer... " - Mik, 6/14/08

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

I wasn’t aware that it ever went out of style since the ‘60s.

      Did I miss something?

It's hard to say whether Cruz suits a beard or not. He's got a face just begging to be dunked in a toilet bowl whether or not he's hirsute

          I was only joking

I agree. As my 15 year old would say, his face begs a swirly.

I don’t think I’ll ever see the lower half of my face again.

I’ve had my beard for about 8 years now.

Luckily, he has a personality to match
