More problematic is this, from Christian Walker’s tweet:

    • “… left us to bang a bunch of women, threatened to kill us, and had us move over 6 times in 6 months running from your violence.”

    From the SLAPPableHat’s tweet:

    • “… abandoning your families, holding a gun to your ex-wife's head, …”

Threatening to kill your own family, holding a gun to your ex-wife’s head, those I find much harder to excuse.

He no longer supports a man’s right to hold a gun to their ex-wife’s head. Whilst he accepts that abandoning one’s family is sometimes unavoidable, he in no way condones those actions in others.

He feels that banging a load of women is really down to a matter of individual choice.

And that's where you've swallowed the bait.

Warnack's commercial features a clip of Hershel's wife talking about the gun incident. What they don't tell you, is that it is a nicely edited form of the original tape. Hershel and his wife were being interviewed and were talking about some of the very tough times they had had. His concussions, his PTSD symptoms and unexplained tempers, culminating in the gun incident.

When that happened, they realized he (and her) had hit bottom. Something had to change. Through medical intervention and a heavy dose of Jesus, Hershel turned a corner. The marriage didn't last, but Hershel's recovery did.

You know, I noticed you didn't mention a word about the many times Hershel has told that story of hitting bottom and redemption. I heard somewhere he's talked about PTSD issues at almost 700 venues, from VA hospitals to military bases, offering people hope.

Now, shithead, who would you rather vote for?...A man who has fought some pretty serious demons and turned his life around or a preacher who us so desperate to hang onto power he'd run a smear campaign against a fellow Christian?

Walker says he didn't pay for an abortion.

The way I look at this, is typical Dem shenanigans. Republicans are held to a higher moral standard and bombshells, true or not, are SOP for Dem campaigns.

Hard for Republican candidates to battle back, since the only thing the Dems aren't in favor of, is human sacrifice. And the media is a propaganda arm of the Dem party.

So...since both are flawed candidates ( as George said, Warnack tried to kill his wife with a car) shall Georgians vote on the issues?

It's really hysterical to see everyone freaking out over a candidate who changed his opinion on a controversial subject because it was politically expedient.

The devil has gone back down to Georgia.

Now that Stacey Abrams — duly elected governor and forever America’s next president — has burst into spectacular flames, Democrats have turned all their devious attention to saving Sen. Raphael Warnock. But that does not mean defending Mr. Warnock’s record or lockstep alliance with President Biden and Democrats in Washington.

No. It means destroying the other guy. Whoever the other guy is. No matter what.

I stopped reading at the first sentence of paragraph 2:

Warnock didn’t generate a single juicy or humiliating headline.

                            Two words: Wife car tire.

Some of Walker’s completely unintelligible answers to basic questions would be amusing if the Georgia Senate race weren’t so important

LOL. For the author, Pennsylvania isn't important

But, sadly, I've descended into whataboutism.

                            And into attacking the messenger:

(Hill is) an American sports journalist who writes for The Atlantic. She worked nearly 12 years for sports conglomerate ESPN.

That makes her supremely qualified to talk about politics, because, after all, Walker played football.

Republicans are going to lose Georgia. We can argue about whether the Democrats are just going full tilt balls out just to keep the Senate, but the fact remains that this loss falls on the Republicans for not vetting their candidates well enough.

Yes, there is a place for forgiveness and allowance for people to grow and change, but at the same time you knew that the Dems were going to throw everything at the candidate. A little vetting would have been nice…

True, but Walker has unbelievable name recognition in Georgia. And look at his policy positions.

A simple vetting would have prevented this.

Look at Warnack. I'm sure they vetted him

The interviewee Geoff Duncan, a Republican, is the lieutenant governor of Georgia.

The commentary came from Geoff Duncan, the Republican lieutenant governor of Georgia.

It's really not good for a state-wide candidate when an elected state leader from his own party is publicly so negative about his candidacy.
