    I'm eating my life's first fennel bulb. I like it! It adds an interesting touch to my salad. Which is romaine, beef, grape tomatoes, Bermuda onion, and a bit of apple that was hanging around and getting in the way so why not. Dressed in Marzetti Lo Carb Bleu Cheese.

    EDIT: Also discovering the tastiness of apple and Bermuda onion in the same mouthful. ๐Ÿ™‚

      I often mix it with potatoes and carrots and roast them.

      I also make a fabulous chicken-bacon-fennel ragout that I serve over rice.

      The whole reason we call them illegal aliens is because theyโ€™re subject to our laws.

        Fennel is great stuff. So is apples and onions, and especially apples and cheeses. I discovered that in college when the cheapest thing in the cafeteria was a nice big red delicious with a hunk of cheddar.
