Welp, Bad Jameis shows up
After the fight, the Saints lose their cool.
-
And...they hit the bomb and the rook fumbles.
One of those days.
BUCS 20 - Saints 10.
-
Think I'll go watch Bureaux and the Bengals ...

A random Saints story with no point whatsoever, but kinda fun nonetheless:
My uncle was in the merchant marines, and spent an assload of time in Nola. The cook on their ship was Creole. (It's where my uncle got his gumbo recipe from.) And he was tight with his money. If he lent you some sugar for your coffee, he expected to be paid back.
One day when they were in port, the Saints were playing. It was a common thing for the guys to bet on the game if they could get it on the radio. The cook never part-took, but inexplicably, on that day he went around and told everyone, "I bet you five dallah, dem Saints'll win it today."
Half the guys took him up on it just for the novelty.
They had a thoroughly shitty year, which was expected, but that game was a blowout. The cook won big.

Before Sunday, in answer to the question, So how can the Bucs do in the regular season what they did the one time they faced the Saints in the postseason.
Brady said, โI think itโs just understanding why weโre losing those games,โ Brady said. โThere are reasons why in each game. You can look at them and look at why we won and why we lost, the one time we beat them. Itโs got to be good football โ offense, defense and special teams. Theyโre too good of a team to think that you can win one phase and win the game. Itโs a challenge because theyโre well-coached, theyโre put in good position to do well, they have a lot of good players, a lot of guys who have been together, played together for a long time. They donโt make a lot of mistakes, they make you earn everything. Every third downโs important, every kicking situationโs important, every third down in the low red area is important, turnovers are important. Itโs a lot of things that lead to winning and losing and obviously we havenโt done a good job of that in the regular season. Weโre going to have to play a lot better if we expect to win.โ
Thus spake a man who's spent a lot of time analyzing the Saints and who showed grace under fire. Brady has a way of stripping complicated truths down to the elements.
Mike Evans said about him that he has the greatest football mind he, Evans, has ever seen.

@Mik
No, stop. I admire him -- very much, for what he's done with his life, with what he's done with the gifts of his potential, for demonstrating what can be done by anyone who has the strength and the will and isn't half-assed in the careless way they live their lives. But I don't letch after him.Well, maybe there's a little fangirl in there. I mean, have you seen him???
-
If Ingram doesn't fumble on the peanut punch, the Saints were driving for a go ahead touchdown. That changes the nature of the rest of the game, because Winston doesn't push.
Not saying the Bucs wouldn't have won, but it might have been a bit closer.
On another note, watch for the suspension on Evans. If he gets anything less than a three game suspension, it's home cooking at the NFL offices

Then Lattimore better get his, too.
Why? Lattimore was jawing. Rude, possibly a Personal Foul penalty, but thatโs it. Evans crossed the line BIG TIME.

No, Lattimore shoved Fournette in the face. That's what set Evans off.
