Good that it works on BA.5, since that is the most contagious variant of Omicron.
But...A funny thing happened on the way to the inoculation location. We're already on BA.5. We may be on another subvariant before the flu (and COVID surge) season gets here. We may already have a subvariant we are unaware of, because other country's public health systems aren't monitoring or reporting variants near as quickly as they were.
They are now dealing with an endemic disease, which is just another endemic disease in a stack of endemic diseases they do not have the resources to deal with.
Which is why...I see no reason to vaccinate children less than 13. I really see no reason to vaccinate teenagers, especially males. In fact, I'm not sure the benefits of the latest COVID vaccination outweighs the detriments, until the recipient is 50+ or immunocompromised.

The FDA has not approve any bivalent booster for children under 12 anyway, and the Moderna one is not approved for anyone under 18.
