I can understand a temporary release of some oil from the strategic reserve to meet an emergency. The Resident continues to keep the spigot turned on to address a problem that he partially caused.

Been a long time since I tried to plow with a horse and back then daddy hooked the horse up, so I bet I'd make a total mess of it...There's an art to making the plow take the soil, not going too shallow or not digging the point in too deep. And then you have your harrow, etc.

I suspect I'd come closer to not starving than you would.

There are a jillion little things that it takes to make that type of life work and it's regionally dependent. And there are a lot of things I know how to do, but I doubt I could physically do them anymore.

I suspect you don't know how to do them at all.
