      2 out of the last three governors have been Republicans. Trump would undoubtedly say they were RINO’s but still….

        The voters they described in the article are not about to turn Conservative or even Republican. They will likely just switch to different liberal candidates. They may go with Republicans on the more local elections just to spite those that they felt wronged them, but I wouldn't expect them to suddenly not vote for Biden or Warren...

          Yep. Voting preferences are significantly less tribal as you go more local. But who you vote for for president is an important piece of one's identity, and it's portable, or rather unshakeable, no matter where you go.

          Education is extremely important.

            7 of 11 Massachusetts governors in my lifetime were republicans
