    Belleau Wood

“Cry havoc and let slip the DOGE of war!”

Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

      Very cool story.

(As because it is not remembered as much - simply passage of time. One hundred years from now, 9/11 will be just a page in the history books. Doubt there will be commemorations or anything like that. Time marches on.)

I realize the below song does not exactly correspond to the information in the article, but still a pretty song.

(song relates to the Christmas truce of 1914. A good movie about it is "Joyeux Noel" If you have not see it before, I recommend it.)

Sabaton wrote a song about them. English isn't their primary language, but they do okay.

Kinda cool if you're into heavy metal/military history intersectionality.

        Please love yourself.

My father's father got a leg full of German machine gun bullets at Belleau Wood.

Regular Army, not Marine, they were there too.
