Piers Morgan called for the 25 amendment.
So, we get Kamala for 2 years. C'mon, man!

Seen on the RWEC...
So, if Joe steps down, would one of the prerequisites be a preemptive pardon of Joe and Hunter?
Fun to speculate.

I think he will serve his term, but will come up with some wishy washy statement on why he is not going to run for election again.

He needs to do it before the November election. Otherwise he won’t do it at all or do it too late.
Of course Harris wants him to put it off to the end.

May they crash and burn, in an electoral sense.

Great, so who do they have on the bench that’s better? Warren? Bernie? LOL… Mayor Pete and Kamala both look not ready for Primetime in their limited roles and they have the stink of the Biden administration on them. Hilary is such a bad candidate that the nation picked Donald Trump over her, if you can believe it… Cory Booker can’t just run on BLM and CRT, those issues aren’t polling well in the US… So who do they run? They would have to go completely outside the current party to stand a chance.
The only fly in the ointment is if Trump actually runs. If he does, I think you may see a moderate conservative run as an independent. That could get interesting if enough Democrats see that candidate as the only viable option to stop Trump.
President Cheney, anyone?

I've been saying the Dems bench is empty since 2020. They have no one of national stature that the voters have not already rejected. I think eventually they will probably run Michelle Obama IF she wants it. I think she will lose if she does, but that's beside the point.
Of course, that hasn't worked out so well for Hillary and she had the advantage of a couple Senate terms.

Talking to my friends in Illinois, they indicate that current Gov. Pritzer is thinking about a run

I suspect there is a plethora of skeletons in Pritzer's closet.

It's funny how they blame low approval.
But somehow ignore the reasons for the low approval.
He is feeble and probably suffers from dementia.
And every time he talks about policy, every policy, he sounds like a lunatic, the policies are insane.
