I saw this online somewhere, I can't remember where.

Isn't it sad what people become when they surround themselves with people who are too polite to tell them they're crazy?

This is a long-standing supposition about Trump's (very) probable refusal to step down for whatever rationalized justification if and when he is "deposed" by an election or otherwise.

Not only about his refusal, but the threat of armed insurrection by his angry supporters (especially in the red states, and especially in the South). Many have publicly stated this intention, and reminded us "Libtards" that they have a massive arsenal including ammo much prepared for just such a "provocation".

Kind of taking up the gauntlet once more of the (never reconciled by them) Civil War.

One active member of TNCR (there from the gitgo)* has spoken of this on numerous occasions representing himself as one of many. I am sure he would not deny this and I take him seriously.

Then too, there is a human tendency to want to use weapons and other supplies one has accumulated. It would be interesting to learn just how many weapons and how much ammo is, in fact, in their hands. Certainly, many multiples of what could ever be justified on the grounds of self-defense per capita or what is available on "our" side. Over decades, they have for the most part, collected their citizen's militia with just such a conflict in mind. That, and the classic wish to protect themselves and their families against (the usual) armed "bad guys" threatening them in their homes or in public.

One of the big questions is, could such a red citizen insurrection count on government support, from any combination of the army (Martial Law), National Guard and other armed forces.

*Nb. Edited to avoid naming the TNCR member specifically.

    Education is extremely important.

Ok, Horace, you made me curious. Considering the source, I find it hilarious.

It’s a topic that concerns me. He is preparing his base to see any loss as illegitimate. He didn’t even accept his loss in the popular vote, almost laughably declaring n+1 fraudulent votes after losing by n.

            So I think it’s a legitimate concern.

            Talk me out of it.

Ok Jolly, will you go on record now saying you won't support Trump if he declares a loss illegitimate and resits a peaceful transfer of power?

Oh sure. And to think people believe this nonsense.

It’s amazing what people and willing to believe, the very same people who lecture on bias.

There are folks who are willing to believe anything and everything bad that might be said about both Obama and Trump., despite any evidence at all or even to the contrary.

The democrats are just asking for it.

They come down on the illegitimate side of every "voting rights" issue. They consistently favor enabling fraud. There is no need for Mr. Trump to prepare his base, that is done for him.

If after the election we had rioting at 1% of the scale of our recent riots, (and equally ineffectual at getting anything accomplished - Trump would still leave office) you'd all declare vindication of your concerns. Meanwhile, no politics is to blame for our recent riots, only a racist cop in MN.

Liberalism was a mental disease. Liberalism is dead. It has been replaced by some sort of fascist idiocy that could only happen after the brain rot of modern liberalism had metastasized.

What I find hilarious about this particular bit of insanity is the utter delusion of the morons "over there".. actually believing they have a snowball's chance in hell of beating Trump. Hell, they're not even a national party any more.

I have watched that bunch of fools shift in their values so much over the years... no principles, just party loyalty, like the sheep they are. I can remember a time when if you even used the word Socialism in jest they'd get mad as hell, and swear on their mommy's grave they were not and never would embrace Socialism. Today they all embrace Socialism.

A bigger bunch of idiots I've never seen.
