            In related news...

            My son told me this weekend that Texans are becoming worried about their electricity grid. People are pouring into the state and it doesn't look like the flow is slowing down.

            And in more related news, Northern Wisconsin received notices this week of possible rolling blackouts, as their grid becomes strained to the breaking point.

            BTW, did you know it takes 3 tons of copper to build and wire a windmill to the grid? Just sayin'...

                I still don’t understand the aversion to nuclear… if you wanna throw money at something - there’s something that had a proven outcome.

                  Nuclear's a bit scary, I think. There's this worry that you happily live somewhere for 20 years, and then suddenly everybody gets cancer.

                  With coal, at least you can see the slag-heap as it falls on top of your village.
