Op-ed on the Google

Long, but very comprehensive look into the phenomenon of "Google searches have gotten worse." Not just gripes, but lots of intelligent discussion and reflection on how and why it got to the way it is.
Personally I have set one browser to default to DuckDuckGo and leave the Brave browser defaults to Brave's search engine. I still find that many times, despite all the complaints I have and have read about Google search, I still come back to explicitly loading Google.com and search there because I couldn't quite get the results I was hoping for from other search engines.

Duck duck go is my default search engine on my phone and computer.
What do other people use?
Since this forum board is pretty "savvy", I am wondering what the breakdown of search engines is.

Same here. DuckDuckGo also has a browser for iOS.
