Anyone watching "Obi-Wan Kenobi"?
-
I watched/skimmed over the first three episodes. I'm not going to watch the rest.
It seems to follow along the same principle as other recent episodes of the Star Wars universe:
Take a beloved star and hero from the original trilogy and use him to attract the fans but then cripple that "hero" and let somebody new - somebody who is "diverse" and delivers THE MESSAGE - take over.
It's boring and predictable.
-
I never even finished the 8th and 9th movies.
Gave up on the Mandalorian after about 4 eps.
All the franchise is now a big felota.
-
But The Madalorian had Baby Yoda! How could anyone not finish a show with Baby Yoda?

Cats ---> looking up "felota".
It's an "Expanse" thing.
"The Expanse" is the best thing to happen to science fiction in decades.

He's right. It's the Cyberpunk of today: exploring a time period and concept the mainstream stories took for granted as part of the way we get to their stuff.
