    I was at the village hall this week waiting to purchase a vehicle sticker.

    As I stood in line, I saw this door.

    Since I was bored, I noticed this. I mean, c'mon man!

    I'm no trim carpenter, but I'm sure that I could do better than that. In fact, I have done better than that.

          And then, what the hell is with the "chair rail?" Why doesn't it go up to the trim around the door?

              That was the first thing I noticed.

              A while ago, I built a small two drawer file cabinet. The front of the drawers is solid oak. I couldn't find pieces wide enough, so I edge-glued a couple of boards together. I did a shitty job of matching the grain (iow, I didn't pay attention) and it bothers me to this day. Gotta admit, that it's not as egregious as the bottom of that door.

              I'll post a picture later, when I get motivated to get out of my chair.
