Such a good hubby

I bought some roses for the yard recently, ten of them. I was planning to get just four from the local stores, and then I saw a sale at Jackson & Perkins that was too good to resist. Six more were added to the list. I thought hubby might raise an eyebrow at getting so many.
After they arrived and had soaked a couple days (bare root roses), I showed him where the four largest ones, floribundas that get 4 to 6 feet tall, could be planted to get his opinion, aka buy-in. Lo and behold, his first question was, "You only got four?" LOLOLOL
Yes, he was wanting MORE, not less. He loves the roses. I should have known he would not only be okay with having some more, but that he would want LOTS more. I do all the work for the roses, and he gets to enjoy them, so why wouldn't he want more?
Even after 37 years, he still surprises me, and reminds me I married the right guy.
(I just ordered some more plants, Calla Lilies and Siberian Irises.

Jolly! That's like offering drugs to an addict! I can see I'll need to open up an entire new planting bed. I hope they have some that work for zone 4. I bet they do.
