It's the GOP's fault, of course. Those evil Republicans who won't vote for continuing to overheat the economy.

“The problem is, Republicans in Congress are doing everything they can to stop my plans to bring down costs on ordinary families,” Biden added.

      What plans?

I see nothing in his plan other than gimmes that would help ordinary people.

But remember.. he is 'delivering for the American people'. Whatserface said so.

“Under my plan for the economy we made extraordinary progress, and put America in a position to tackle a worldwide problem that’s worse everywhere but here: inflation,” Biden said..

EU inflation is catching up but is still lower at 8.1%. Japan is at 2.1%. China is at 8%, India is at 7.8, but India has averaged 6% over the past two decades…Where is it higher? Argentina?

Well, fiscal conservatives can at least cheer for the cut in federal deficit:

… Biden said his administration had managed to cut the federal deficit, since the 2020 baseline was inflated by emergency Covid spending.

“By the end of the fiscal year, we will have cut the federal deficit by another $1.6 trillion. In one year!” Biden said. ...

Feds gonna up the rate by 75 basis points tomorrow.

Probably another pair of similar increases by September.

Do you not see deficit reduction as an accomplishment, or do you not see deficit reduction as an accomplishment only when a Democrat gets credit for it?
