Went the "creator" route this time. Although I suspect it will a decent light gaming machine.
16'' (2560*1600) 16:10 120Hz display; 100% Adobe RGB; Pantone validated color accuracy; 500 nits; Delta E <2
AMD R7 5800H processor 3.2 GHz(16M Cache, up to 4.4GHz) with Windows 11 Home
NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3060 with 6GB GDDR6 VRAM - RTX Studio Ready
Fast storage and memory(upgradable) featuring 1TB PCIe NVMe RAID0 SSD and 32GB DDR4 MemoryThis is my very first PC laptop ever. lol I have only ever owned Apple laptops until now. My last one being a 2015 MacBook Pro which is still running but the battery is about shot.
I will be upgrading the memory to 64GB and probably install a 2TB NVMe in the second slot.

Cool! Please let me know what you think about the performance after you've messed with it some. How many monitors will you hook it up to?

It will drive a 4K 43" TV for trade shows. At home, for studio work, it will probably see a 38" Ultra-Wide like what I use on my main workstation. It will probably inherit the one I have now as I would like to upgrade this one to a higher refresh rate which is currently 75Hz
I am doing an on-site demo next week for a potential new customer and I needed something in stock, that I could live with for a few years. This seemed to fit the bill.
I had a bigger budget but what I "wanted" is not available. I think for the money, this represents very good value with a killer screen, 32GB ram, an RTX 3060 GPU, AMD Ryzen 5800 8 core / 16 thread CPU.
