I would have lived in St. Augustine years ago. Yeah, they had some touristy crap around the old fort, but parts of town were old frame homes with live oaks that arched over the streets. You had the day boats and their fishermen, some camps down by the water in places and the kids at Flagler College.
Quaint, quiet, old Florida.
