Dust Off

Walked into work this morning and the chopper was lifting off as I was halfway across the parking lot (pad is just off the lot, opposite the ED). When I left work yesterday evening, a chopper was lifting off. Deja vu, all over again.
Two separate circumstances. Yesterday, 5 month-old drowning in a bath tube unattended by the mother. Kid wasn't breathing when we got it, but parents were very lucky...Their neighbor was a nurse and had already started CPR. Crew was bagging and the doc was two seconds away from intubating when the baby gasped and started breathing. Status this morning, unknown.
This morning, they were loading the incubator with a 25 week-old, delivered in the ED (we don't do OB), which is a little unusual. Mom presented already crowning. Mom is doing okay. Hope the baby makes it.

C'mon, man!
I bet you could hear that code call go off and the heart rate would pick up 15 bpm and you'd be snortin' fire just like a race horse.
