    You're not missing much.

Thank you. At my age, when I want popcorn, it should be REALLY GOOD popcorn.

I mean, yeah, some of it is, but I wouldn't consider anything in the Marvel universe absolutely essential for anybody.

Oh come on, the scene in Endgame where a beat up Captain America stands alone against the Chitauri horde and then the next 5 minutes afterward is the greatest “Splash Page” in movie history…

That being said, Suicide Squad II isn’t MCU, and it was a pretty damn funny R-rated movie that makes fun of the Superhero tropes. Peacemaker takes it to the next level.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

A splash page is a page or 2 page spread in a comic book or graphic novel where the typical 6-8 panel page is replaced by a single large image to convey a scene of import…

In movies starring Jon and Aqua’s Sister it would be called The Money Shot…

                😄

Graphic novels are fun, though. And no I don't mean comic books, I mean novels that are told primarily in illustrations instead of words.

                Please love yourself.

That could certainly be true. I've never explored the genre/medium.

They became a more mainstream thing around 2005 or so, but the problem is, there's a ton of shite out there.

I love Guy Delisle's. He gets these weird ass jobs training 3rd world animation teams, and while he's there, he makes a "graphic novel diary" of his stay. They're very interesting, shocking sometimes, and often hilarious.

                    One of the best ones:

Just finished Peacemaker. Giving James Gunn a longer story telling format and going rated R was an excellent choice…
