That made me look That kind of military plane normally wouldn't be seen, because they would not have a transponder turned on. If the transponder is on, they want to be seen. I spotted this guy, just now

True. I can see them justifying it by saying that the oil depot was used to provide supplies for the Russian invaders. It might be a weak response, but nothing like attacking a city in Russia.

It is good for the country feelings to do this. I remember @Jolly (?) posting a story about the first US bombs to Tokyo. At the time, not much "war" value, but it really got the spirits up.
