I was once behind somebody driving through the countryside in Wales. A sheep ran out, and was run over. The guy in the next car jumped out and threw it in the back of the car before driving off at some speed.
My guess is he was trying to get it home whilst it was still warm.

There was a story I read about some celebrity talking about the first job they had.
They worked for the goverment transportation group for the summer and had visions of being a "flagger" on the highway, flirting with girls as they were stopped in traffic, getting a sun tan, etc.
