@smithburger , assuming you want to play the piano only for yourself, just press the keys in any order you like, using any subset you like.

Hello. I am an old rubbish piano player.
You've come to the right place!
There was this really smart German guy called Klaus
My mistake, you've come to the wrong place.

@Axtremus so do you prefer Scriabin or galuppi?
-
@Doctor-Phibes oh ok. Can you point me to the room where dumb Germans are please? Thanks

I believe we have a moderator that takes care of that sort of thing.

do so by pressing down the keys (the black and white things on a piano), usually with their fingers. Hope this helps.
They aren't really keys, they are more like buttons.
If you're not sure which button to push get some sheet music. The sheet music will help you decide which buttons to use.

Welcome! One thing Klaus will always have over me is that he's a much better piano player than I am. A lot of folks here are really knowledgable.
But I have to ask something, and I apologize for the tone, but it will make a lot more sense over time:
ARE YOU CRASHTEST? ARE YOU.

@Axtremus ok your make it sound simple. But how do you know in which order to press the keys? And which ones are better, the black or the white?
The white ones are better. Stay away from the black ones. Surely you have heard of white privilege.
