From Ken White
Unethical: Participating in the decision on a case that would lead to the disclosure of your spouse's inflammatory and incriminating texts.
Unethical and stupid: Not just participating but dissenting 8-1

In what universe should Justice Jackson recuse herself from Asians v Affirmative Action (you know what I mean) but Thomas shouldn’t recuse himself from a case that will incriminate his own wife?

You think this is all completely above board? Having the wives of supreme court justices texting that the WH Chief of Staff should overturn an election is fine with you?

Gotta agree with @jon-nyc on this one.
Even in the unlikely event that it is not improper, it appears improper. When I saw this story yesterday, I was flabbergasted.
But, speaking of universes, in what universe does the spouse of a SCOTUS justice do this type of shit to begin with without realizing there will be fallout?

When I heard it this morning, I thought it sounded like an April Fool's story.
How can he not recuse himself? His authority is going to be completely undermined.

As I said, highly inappropriate and damaging to Thomas's credibility to be impartial.
Started reading Barr's book this afternoon. With respect to that tweet, the prologue is, well, disturbing.
