The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

I vaguely remember reading years ago that this is because the death chemicals are becoming harder and harder to import.

      Am I remembering this right?

Is it too much to hope this will be a deterrent? Firing squad seems somehow scarier than taking it lying down on a table.

      Probably not.

Just do away with it entirely. What a horrible thing to have to participate in, even if they are volunteers.

Oh, there's a few that I'd pay the state to pull the trigger.

I kind of go back and forth on the death penalty. I absolutely do NOT think it stops people from doing crime. But, there are some people, like Jolly says, who cannot be rehibilitate.

But, costs for someone who is sentenced to death is huge, and since living in prison is not very attractive, maybe just let them have life in prison.

            🤷

            I dont know.

I am pro death penalty for unwanted babies. I’m big on personal responsibility and if a baby can’t make itself wanted immediately after conception, then it gets what it deserves IMO.

I am pro, but to be used with extreme rarity. Restricted to the truly monstrous, like Dahmer or Bundy. And only when it can be established as unequivocally as humanly possible that the individual dunnit. I gather great effort is done now toward that end, but apparently mistakes are still made.

Maybe we can contract to do them on The Farm. We're pretty cheap down here.
