Interesting points that seem pretty obvious when looking back.
In situations like this, i would have thought the RUssians would have played war games using the "worse case" scene.
I am really surprised that pre-planning and preparation were so bad.
"What if food and fuel deliveries are only 50% of what we think?"
"What if weather slows us to 25% of expected?"
etcSame as when the US left Afghanistan
"What if the Afghan army stops fighting completely?"
etc
