Hey, fans of "Dune."
-
As I've mentioned, I've been a fan of the "Dune" universe books since the early 1980s when I read Herbert's first book. I was disappointed in the sequels (as much as I remember), but I've always been fascinated by the world he created, set about 20,000 years in the future.
I think @LuFins-Dad had some comments on the books written by Herbert's son, Brian. It seems that there are three sets of trilogies in these books, and I'm in the middle of the last book of the second trilogy (chronologically speaking, that is).
I also said that I was really, REALLY, looking forward to the release of the new movie based on Herbert's book, and I was thrilled to see it, even though it was only "Part 1."
Now that I'm immersed in the books, I thought it might be fun to revisit the 2021 movie and see what the various YouTubers have to say about the movie.

They used the same camera filter to shoot the movie as they did to film the outdoor wedding scene in The Godfather.
Just sayin'.

On my list after I finish rewatching "Twin Peaks."
