    The Russians love 'em. But they haven't been used nearly as much as I would have thought.

      My hunch is that Russian are hoping for unconditional capitulation in the face of overwhelming force. Hence the facade of negotiations taking place.

      House to house fighting and mounting casualties amid the rubble of Kyiv is not the Kremlin’s preferred choice. However, as each hour passes the probability of heavy force increases.

      Everyday the war goes on the risks and costs to Russia rise, possibly exponentially when all is taken into account.
