Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II has tested positive for Covid-19, Buckingham Palace said in a statement Sunday.
The royal, 95, “is experiencing mild cold-like symptoms but expects to continue light duties at Windsor over the coming week,” the statement said, according to Britain’s Press Association.
“She will continue to receive medical attention and will follow all the appropriate guidelines,” it added.
The announcement came a few weeks after the U.K.’s longest-reigning monarch celebrated her Platinum Jubilee of 70 years on the throne on February 6.
Her son Prince Charles also tested positive for a second time less than two weeks ago.
"A second time?"
What?

Hadn't heard that about Charles. OTOH, I don't follow the Royals much

I think Charles had tested positive early on when Covid first hit the world in 2020.
Poor QE2. I really hope this isn't how she goes.

Not fond of Charles, but it's time for her to take the remainder of her life a little easier...

Hey, I remember the Big O.
That was back in the day when it was actually fun to watch the NBA.
