All kind of vague.

He's cancelled a recital and is going to be out "for weeks."

"Berlin’s Pierre Boulez-saal has let it be known that Daniel Barenbom underwent bck(sic) surgery on February 6.

He is recovering well at home and hopes to resume his engagements early in March."
