It's arguable that Donald Trump is a RINO, but not in the way that he means it. I think it's fair to say that he's a lot more concerned with Donald Trump than he is with the Republican Party.
I'm equally sure that some of his apologists will disagree with that.

Trump's RINO algorithm seems to be rather simple:
IF (s)he support me THEN (not RINO) else RINO

Not really. They just say and do what they think will get them elected by their base.
They will turn on Trump pretty quickly if they think it will help get them elected.
