What she's cooking I suppose. Tuna Tetrazzini.

The recipe is one she got with her first Amana Radarange back when dinosaurs.

What, George? It looks like a lot of what you cook - just lighter brown.

@mik there are SO many dishes that I'd like to try that I avoid. Saucy things, spicy things, etc.

But, they're never going to happen in my house.

Food's gotta be "brown, hot and plentiful."

I share your frustration. The Princess and I are culinary adventurers. Not so much MFR.

@mik yeah, but even MFR won't eat turkey tetrazzini...

                      (she doesn't like "saucy" things)

I make 95% of our meals. But spouse somehow uses 90% of the freezer space.

There are a couple of foods that only I like, or a subset of the family dislikes so much that they won't eat it.

I think rather than always ending up with the lowest common denominator it is better to offer food alternatives. For instance, my kids hate mushrooms, but I love them. No problem, they'll get peas then.

Unfortunately, between having a 2 year old and our own schedules, I wind up making most of our dinners. Our current favorite is a dish called ToGo…

We like that too. Another fave is DoorDash.

We're so far in the sticks, doordash for us is getting from the store (16 miles way) to home and the freezer before the ice cream melts.

We have the freedom to choose our actions, but we do not get to choose our consequences.
Yes, there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run, there's still time to change the road you're on.
