After almost a year without homegrown roses in the kitchen, we are back in business. The old rose garden of course was sold last June and it took this long to get the new rose garden up and producing. We must have a couple dozen buds growing now, yellow, pink and red.

      Nice!

Pretty. Did you start with the plants from the previous place or did you get new ones?

No, the roses all stayed at the old house. We had owned several of them for years and thought about taking them, but ended up leaving them all.

We got used to having them in the kitchen. If we get a few more bushes in the ground we should have a regular supply.

Copper doesn’t do anything half way. Seems like a trait in this forum.

              Nothing like a rose.

What's interesting is the different aromas different rises give off.

BTW, I've got a recipe for rose cake, but I've never tried it...

Beautiful, Copper. It's not as easy to grow roses here in Minnesooooooota, but I try. It's worth it.
