Just curious...
Do your froggos have individual personalities? I mean, do certain individuals act differently from others?
Also, we need a Jurgi update!
Jurgi never came back this summer. There was some trilling nearby that sounded like him, but I couldn't see him. Yes, they have different types of trills, and his was very familiar to me after hearing it so much the first summer. Their lifespan in the wild is only a few years, so ...
As for our current eight froggos, yes, they have different personalities and habits. I can expect to find certain ones napping in the same places nearly every day, and some that will be paired up as buddies while sitting together. They are various sizes and colors, but it's their personalities that make them unique.
And then there are the three Puppy Frogs. Those three are still jumping to the rim of the pot to be near Mom, even though they are now too wide to fit on the rim very well. They still like to be petted through the screen. It doesn't work at all to pet them directly, as it only pulls at their skin. With the screen between, I can actually pet them, and they love it. They come to the side of the froggo house pot, I open the screen, reach in and pick up the frog with one hand, bring the frog up to the screen, and pet it with my other hand. It's hard to describe how happy it makes them. They seek it, expect it, and are so thoroughly pleased to have the attention. When one turns around after some petting, puts their other side to the screen and looks up at me, I know they are saying, "OK, now this side, please." How could you possibly say no to that?

Background on one of the frogs that is sometimes called Min and other times One-Toe. - This frog has had both names in use as he changed over time, and he really does have only one toe on his hind right foot. You will see that clearly in the video at one point. He is one of the main froggo characters in this production.
The other main frog , the dark froggo, is one of the Puppy frogs and has the characteristic personality of that group. He never gives up, he is willing to try the hardest stunts, and he is adorable.Enjoy!
