Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

I didnt sell any to the Chinese, but the... i didnt have any chinese trying to buy any. Good thing, because i wouldnt sell to them.

In the philippines, it is against the law for a foreigner to own land. You can own the building on it, but not the land the building sits on. When i bought a home there we had to put the land in Sara's fathers name, and then lease it from him.... 1,000 pesos (about 20 bucks) for a 99 year lease The house on the other hand, is in our names. The US would be better off if we did the same thing.

@larry said in They ain't making any more land.:

Same in Thailand. But even there, a foreigner cannot even own the building on land or cannot even own a condo. You have to purchase a 99 year lease for a condo, and I do not think this is even possible to do with freestanding houses.

I think we talked about this previously, but I believe that the largest individual owning farmland in the US is Bill Gates.
