Tolkien or Antidepressant?

But the idea of this quiz is funny. I saw it a few days ago and laughed without having to click on it.

I think I've read the books about 8 or 9 times, first time when I was 11 after stumbling across The Hobbit when I was 10. I was obsessed with them as a teenager.
I've never taken an anti depressant, but all my friends do.
I'm kidding, of course. I don't have any friends.

Fantastic quiz! 10/24, btw.

19/24
And I’m with phibes, read the trilogy numerous times. First time about age 15. Last time about a couple of years ago. A masterpiece.

23/24, bitches. (Guessed on 3-4 though.)

Very Impressive. I’ve seen the movies multiple times and read The Hobbit out-loud but couldn’t retain any of the names...well at least the more obscure ones in the test.

I've read a lot of the weird shit, too, which helps. The Lays of Beleriand was really helpful to me when I was getting my Master's, along with Auden's Age of Anxiety and the letters between the two regarding alliterative verse.
When they came out I gobbled up The Children of Húrin, The Lay of Aotrou and Itroun, and Beren and Lúthien.
A lot of the non-LOTR stuff, too: The Monsters and the Critics, his version of Sir Gawain, the Beowulf translation, etc.
I also extracted all the songs and poems from the Hobbit and LOTR and made an eBook of them to read on my Kobo.
Big damn nerd.
