Buddy rattles our door handle in the middle of the night to wake us up for sink drinks or food. I hope and pray cats never develop opposable thumbs or prehensile tails.

I keep the dials for our gas stove in a bowl beside it for that very reason. You are supposed to have to push the dials in to turn them but that has apparently worn out over 16 years.
