Was at WallyWorld today. My old Kuerig died this morning and big blue had the best price on an in-stock maker.

When you scan people (I do, Cooper Condition Yellow), you notice the odd bulges that denote concealed weapons. Saw a guy in the store - a somewhat ratty looking guy - and I noticed the handle print right off. As he was walking, his unbuttoned shirt kept opening up enough I could tell he was carrying S&W Shield. Made me pay a lot more attention to him, not to mention I made sure my concealed weapon was accessible.

I know open carry is a thing with some people, but I think in most urban settings, it's bad manners, along with a host of other things.

      Agreed.

Tennessee now has open carry with no license requirement. Even though we can now holster a hog leg òright out in the open like in the wild west, hardly anyone does.

It gets crazy if you travel

          Massachusetts
Massachusetts does not honor permits from any other states.
There is no duty to retreat in a person’s dwelling, although there is a duty to retreat outside of one’s home.
The former Class B license allows for only the open carry of non-large capacity firearms. Due to revisions to licensure, there may be Class B licenses that are still valid, however, no new Class B licenses are being issued.

          Virginia
Virginia honors all out-of-state concealed carry permits.
There is no duty to retreat, and you can defend yourself at any location you are legally permitted to be.
Open carry is legal in Virginia without a permit for anyone who is at least 18 years old who can legally possess a firearm.
