    Ran across an article in a January 1946 Popular Mechanics. Post-war, there was a scramble to provide houses for booming market. The Gunnison House ranged from 28x24 - 4 rooms to
    56x24 - 7 rooms. Price? $3500 to $9000.

    If your foundation was ready, the home could be erected in one day. It could be finished in one week.

        You can find a handful of those in the older DC suburban areas, too. Bet you 10 bucks most of my grandmother's neighbors live in those or similar.
