Watched the first episode this morning.

Very good, and excellent at building on threads and stories from season 5 (Filip is quite the dick).

But, to my memory, it's quite different from book 6.

"Same story, told in a different way" as James S A Corey said.

Episode 2 really, REALLY, got intense.

I'm disappointed that this season will be only 6 episodes, and then it ends.

However, now that I'm almost done with book 8, I really understand how it would be difficult to tell the rest of the story without another 2-3 episodes.

What I'm enjoying is the differences between the books and the TV series. So many ways to tell the same story.

So far, pretty good!

What upset me most so far is that they gave Marco Inaros a man bun!

But the special effects in the 2nd episode, with the Roci chasing the other ship were spectacular. Look at the detail of thrusters firing, etc.

Bosch is phenomenal. I'm on the next to last season.

I watched Ep. 1 last week. The wife and daughter are watching The Witcher, so I'm going to have to snag the TV when I can. I loved Episode 1.

I wish they'd make more of them.
