    An interesting piece, even if it is Pravda Rolling Stone.

    Is Trump right on this? That Israel really does not want peace? Or did moving the embassy squelch the deal? Or was the deal DOA for other reasons?

    It has long seemed to me that if the participants really wanted peace it would have arrived by now.

          @mik no time now for an in depth answer.

          Short answer is everything is on hold for now.

          Events will eventually force a change in the status quo.

          Abbas is old and soon to exit the world stage. There will be a power vacuum and probably a violent internal clash for who takes control. By the time the dust settles, the geo political equilibrium will have changed, and new unforeseen forces will bring about a window for an arrangement of some kind. But for now….no big surprises on the horizon.
