Politicians the world over have proven themselves incompetent when making statements about vaccines and this virus in general. I’ll therefore wait for someone other than a politician to discuss a fourth dose before I judge or make any decision on the matter. That someone would have to be several medical professionals and would have include infectious disease doctors and/or virologists.

Be that as it may, I will still pay more attention to the advisements of an infectious disease specialist than a politician when it comes to the virus, its treatments and vaccines. You are welcome to do otherwise.

Damn selective memory you have.

The numbers showed they "worked" at about 94%. Not totally preventing the disease, but mostly preventing it or at least making it a milder case. That was pretty good and accomplished the desired purpose, in record time with unprecedented flexibility from the FDA.

And then, as you well know, the virus mutated. You had Beta, Gamma and Delta. The latter showed us that vaccinated people could get really sick with COVID. Could get really sick and die. In fact, during our last spike, *20% of our hospi COVID patients were breakthrough cases. *

So now folks are getting third shots. Israel is now talking a fourth shot.
