Reminds me of this:
My cousin's a state trooper. He got a call about a car that swiped a few others in the DC beltway, then parked itself on the middle of the highway. When he and another trooper approached the car, the driver was just staring out the front windshield. Then when the trooper tried opening the door to pull the driver, he started fighting him, swinging punches, clawing at his face. They tackled and restrained him.
The other trooper wanted to bring him up on about a dozen felonies, but my cousin checked him out. Then called for an ambulance.
Driver was diabetic. My cousin recognized it because he's a diabetic. Ambulance didn't have stuff on-hand so they used the kit my cousin keeps in his squad car.
Driver eventually came to and had no idea where he was or what happened.
