    Folks, not sure if there are any TNCR regulars in the area, but a buddy of mine will be giving a piano concert in Binghamton NY on Sunday Nov. 14 :

      Wow...he's doing all that?

        @Mik , it's two programs.

        I love Poulenc's music, and I've noodled with his improvisations.

        This, #15, is probably my favorite:

        The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

          Yeah, but still, all in a few hours.

            That is an impressive program

              That’s a lot of music to have in your fingers.

                Yeah, the guy has a big repertoire. He’s one of those rare prodigies who have both impressive techniques and sensitive musicality.

                The concert promoter engaged him pre COVID but the original concert date got pushed out by COVID and only recently got rescheduled. Due to COVID the promoter figure they cannot sell as many tickets in “one concert” so the promoter asked to split into two separate concerts. The pianist obliged and figure it’d be more interesting to not repeat the same music on the same day. That’s why you see two programs rather than one.
