No surprise the media didn’t. 4 million college kids graduating not to mention the newly hired and furloughed or laid off.
“Those entering the job market in a downturn may never catch up in pay, opportunities or confidence.“
The young will figure out what has happened to them. Keeping everything closed is not an option.

Don’t worry. I’m sure we’ll be paying off their college loans.
Sigh.

Food for thought...
Given the profile of those most at risk for the Chicom Flu, what is going to be the attitude of business towards anybody 55 plus?
The newly graduated may have better prospects than we may think...
Protected.

Yep.
And they'll still get rid of them, unless there is an acute shortage of workers in that field.
They whack 'em and stack 'em, and have for several years.
You’ve never seen a form of those laid off by age, sex and race? Juxtaposed by the make up of the workforce. Go talk to a few corporate lawyers.

I've seen drug companies go through and RIF half of their senior reps and then whittle the rest of them over the next 36 months. That's just one example.
Brother, if they decide to do it, it will be done.

So, you dispute the premise of the article?

Let me state for the record...I very, very rarely will read a NYT link.
And I damn sure ain't gonna pay for the privilege.
It’s so valuable. I knew that story of the virus would be milked until the story of the economic disaster was worth more. The NYT acted as predicted. The trick will be to tie both to Trump.
