    This look boring to you?

The graphics look nice, but that doesn't do anything for me. I don't care much whether the graphics looks like a 1990s DOS game or whether it is indistinguishable from a Hollywood movie.

If you have a game of chess and make very elaborate versions of the pieces, with all kinds of bells and whistles, would it make the game more interesting? It may impress you briefly, but after a while you realize that the superficial sugar coating doesn't add much and it becomes just a normal game of chess.

What's the difference between games and real life? I'd say the main difference is that games operate on symbolic abstractions rather than on "real" things. It is in some ways against the spirit of games to make them too "real".

If I wanted to sit around in a stupid fantasy listening to lots of made up shit that was completely devoid of reality, I'd come here!

I suppose where regular people see beautiful graphics, @Klaus sees lines of codes and symbols cascading across a dark screen.

Where some see coincidence, I see consequence. Where others see chance, I see cost. Bring me the eyes of the Oracle, and I will give you back your graphics card.

I bet you watched that movie on a black and white portable TV from the 1970's.

OK, sorry. If you don't me asking, how much are you paying for the 3070 GPU?

My good friend Markj is selling me the GPU and CPU.

Now I have to keep the 16GB AMD 6900XT GPU.

Pffft. At least steal better source material.

It may not be nice to have a graphics card, 6655321. It may be horrible to have a graphics card. And when I say that to you I realize how self-contradictory that sounds. I know I shall have many sleepless nights about this. What does God want? Does God want graphics cards or the choice of graphics cards? Is a man who chooses no graphics card perhaps in some way better than a man who has a graphics card imposed upon him?

                        Please love yourself.
