Kind of ties into the other forum thread about civility.
But everybody (on both sides - each are equal guilty) seems to justify their behavior by saying, "the other side does it, so why can't I?"
That is something that kindergarten kids do. Sad to see among grown up politicians.

No, it's not hate speech.
And if they read the books they're trying to ban, they'd know that demonizing your opposition is the fastest and best way to radicalize both them and yourself.
