I don't much care if it is stupid shit. If it's effective, it may be shit, but it ain't stupid.
Just pounding another nail in the coffin.

Even assuming the "White Coat Waste Project" got the facts straight (a leap of considerable faith), it seems to me you wouldn't have to know too much about how the world works to figure that Fauci doesn't actually read and approve all of the NIH's grants. If you were unsure, a quick google could inform you that NIH has 20k employees and makes ~50,000 grants a year.

I sit on a grant review committee. Reading 20 is hard work (admittedly I'm a non-scientist, but still).

Even then, chances are that the grant was approved/appropriated while Trump was in the White House, making Trump the side “who approved beagle pups be locked in cages so their faces can be eaten alive by giant sandflies, with the dogs having had their vocal chords severed so they cannot cry out in pain...”

Why not get a scientist to do that work for you? 😉

We’ve seen the short-bus defense theories, this is the short-bus offense theory.

But of course you’re right. This one even resonated with you, apparently, and you surely know better.

Of course. But if there's anything I learned from Russia! Russia! Russia!, perception is reality in politics. Even strong enough to impeach a President.

So if a lying Dr. Fauxi can be painted with tar of a dubious nature, hand me another bucket of the sticky stuff.

But you are wrong, it wasn’t “Russia” that led to Trump’s impeachment. It was Ukraine that led to Trump’s first impeachment, and it was a riot at the Capitol that led to Trump’s second impeachment.

Are you sure about this? It's not like he has anything much to do besides fucking up Americans' lives and infuriating the Right. Once those two things are rolling, they pretty much snowball on their own, no?

Not sure how Fauci has time to read grant proposals, with how busy he is killing puppies.

He had time to read the Wuhan proposal, because he talked about it more than once.

Not directly, but Fauxi helped create the Wuhan Virus.

LOL, I have a work based acquaintance/friend that has spent the last 18 month evangelizing two things; The greatness of Fauci and her love of Beagles. She hasn’t posted anything on Facebook in days and must be apoplectic.

Seems reasonable to think so. Certainly the connection is strong enough to be used as fair play in politics. I guess left-leaning people who ever once stuck up for Trump against all the nonsense thrown at him, would have the moral authority to claim otherwise. (Crickets.)
