For Russians, Putin’s musings come as a breath of fresh air in part because he is the first leader since Stalin who can actually form coherent sentences and devise and implement policies which they, for the most part, can relate to and support. To use Stalin’s infamous slogan; “life [in Russia under Putin] has become more easy, more happy”
For Westerners he is, of course, a Stalin like thug, who hates liberal democracy in general and modern progressivism in particular. That too is correct.
