          That’s just as intrusive. Even a minimum wage employee is going to have 10k of transactions a year.

                  I already paid income tax on my savings.

                  If a national sales tax was implemented, that money would all be taxed again.

                  Seniors would really be hurt by the double tax

                              Depends on the place. Kitchen staff almost always gets bupkis. Busboys get paid out by servers at the end of the night, or the restaurant pulls it from the waiters' tips.
